IDEAL continues to expand its line of testers and meters with on-target innovative instruments. The new Split Jaw™ model 61-095 is a pocket-sized, easy-to-use voltage, continuity and current tester with integral lead storage. With a rigid split-jaw design especially effective for hard-to-reach cables in large bundles, the 61-095 enables electricians and industrial technicians to test AC current testing up to 200 AAC without breaking the circuit. Continuity testing is possible through a built-in audible beeper with displayed resistance to 2000?. The Split Jaw’s replaceable, heavy-duty test leads store smartly in the rear of the tester, so it’s no problem to stash the tester in a tool pouch or pocket. Other convenience features include a low battery indicator, data hold and an auto power off to conserve battery life. The IDEAL Split Jaw also has a safety rating of CATIII-600V and is backed by the IDEAL limited lifetime warranty.
