Traditionally, if you needed a milling magnet or other fixture for a machine with a 20" x 40" table, you purchased a magnetic chuck that covered the entire table at a sizable cost. Unfortunately you do not always need a magnet of this size. Also, you need to raise the part off of the surface of the magnet for through hole or profile work which would require additional top tooling.
As a result of these issues, the A Pod was born. This unique, fully magnetically balanced individual pole works much like a 1 2 3 block but with the clamping power of a heavy milling magnet.
