This is a replacement test lead for many models of Hickok tube testers. It is needed to test tubes with a top cap for the grid or plate connection.
Many testers have lost this lead, making it impossible to test tubes with top caps. This lead works with Hickok 533, 539A/B/C, 600, 600A, 750, 752, 800, TV-2, TV-7B/U and others.
There are at least three sizes of caps on various tube types. They range from 1/4" to 1/2". My test lead uses an alligator clip that will fit them all, including 811A, 6146, 6J7, 807, 6BQ6, TV sweep tubes, and old radio tubes including type 22, 24A, 32, 39/44, and 6A8.
The clip is made in USA by Mueller.
The lead is made from Belden heavy-duty rubber insulated test prod wire, rated at 5kV. The clip has a durable vinyl insulator.
The standard default wire color is red, but because these are custom-made, they can be supplied in black if requested. I can also supply this lead with bananna plug for Triplett and other testers that use bananna plugs.
