The EQC Journeyman is our entry level product into the Auto-Darkening Market. With the same basic technology as the more expensive EQC Filters, the Journeyman comes in either a fixed shade (9, 10, 11, 12) or a variable shade (8.5-12.5). Perfect for the weekend or cost-conscious welder, the Journeyman has an "on" switch with an auto-off feature and uses two "AAA" batteries. Meets ANSI Z87.1
• Perfect for the weekend or cost-conscious welder - entry level auto-darkening filter • 2†x 4¼†cartridge size with approximately 4 square inch viewing area • Available in fixed shade 10 or variable shade (8.5 - 12.5) • HTLS (High Transmission Light State) features a shade 2.75 in the clear state, allowing for hood-down set-up in low ambient light conditions • On switch with auto-off feature automatically turns the unit off after approximately 20 minutes of non-use • Available cartridge only or in Shadow Helmet
