The Precision Scientific DD90 dual stage rotary vane mechanical vacuum pump has applications for use in general vacuum applications in industrial processes and research laboratories. The specifications for this pump are as follows:

We tested this unit using a ~1 cubic foot bell jar as our pump-down vessel.
This pump took approximately 5.5 minutes to bring the apparatus down to 1 mm/Hg. It continued to go down as you can see from the picture of the gauge. This unit has been operated at our facility for more than 24 hrs and we think it is working great! As you can see from the photos, it is in excellent condition. The pump has hardly any blemishes on it and works even better than it looks.
