As you probably know, Toshiba and Blanchard are the best of this type of grinder. This Toshiba rotary surface grinder is a vertical spindle, rotary table type. Model KRT-8D. This is almost identical to a Blanchard Model 18-36 right down to table and spindle speeds as well as the similarities in the way the machine operates. I believe the stones are interchangeable with the same stones Blanchard uses. This machine was in perfect operating condition when removed from service. It was no longer needed for production but the floorspace was. The grinder saw little use in our line, and believed to be placed in production prior to September 1990. The condition of the paint verifies it`s little use.Well maintained and overall condition is good.
It comes with linear scales and readout attached, as well as a hydroflow filter, magnetic coolant separator, and manuals. All wires are match marked from the factory for easy assembly and the inside of the electrical panels are very clean and dry.

Table speeds are 6,8,11,18,24,33 rpm
The reserve is set at $14,000. This is a good deal for any one in need of a grinder. Call the used machine tool dealers , If you can find one this nice it will cost you 2 or 3 times my reserve price.
