10 phillips egc nos 6112 dual triodes

This is for 10 (ten) 6112 dual triode tubes. These are the hard to find sub-miniture tube like the 6021 which has about 1/2 the Mu of this 6112.
If you want more of a Fender Tweed era gain structure then use the 6021 which is more like a 12AY7.
This 6112 has the Mu of a 12AX7 so it is ideal for small amplifiers where a rugged nature, low power requirement and high performance are the goal.
In the past there were octal preamp tubes from the 1950s and earlier. These gave way to the miniture tubes that are used today such as the 12AX7. These sub-miniature tubes have the same gain in reduced microphonics and increased reliability as the 12AX7 over it's larger brothers of the past when these are compared to a 12AX7.
Using one of these as a front end (such as in a Fender tone stack arrangement) and a second one as the phase inverter with two of the 6205 pentodes in a class A/B arrangement will give a killer small amp.
These are factory packed in original new boxes and not tested. These typically have a very high rate of being problem free.
These are great for use for projects that require vacuum tubes such as small amplifiers and are especially suited to tube pedals, effects, and stomp boxes where less heat and higher reliability and life are desired. These tube have much lower physical microphonic characteristics than a converntional 9 pin small signal tube such as a 12AX7 or 12AT7. The small pentode is extremely robust.
Very free from microphonics (these were used once in devices such as proximity fuses in artillery shells).
