This is a New old stock Motorola Converta-Com MX300 series, model #N1244A. The "Converta-Com" mobile radio console is a vehicle mounted unit used to adapt MX320 - 360 "Handie-Talkie" portable FM two-way radios for mobile operation. When the radio is placed in this unit it is connected to the mobile antenna, the push-to-talk microphone is activated, the charging circuits are connected to the vehicle, transmit and charge lights are connected, and unit is connected to the 12 watt external speaker.
