Large 1100 gallon Desiccant Air Drying tank with dual 4-way 8" pneumatic actuated Stainless valves.
This was part of a 2000 cfm low pressure air drying system. This is one of a pair of desiccant tanks or columns. One would be in use while the other was being regenerated. This unit has the valves that switched between tanks. The top and bottom plates look like they are over an inch thick. Other parts of the system are listed separately.
The unpainted angle irons are just temporary transport supports.
The stainless valve assembly is made by Quality Controls or QCI http:// /
This image looks into one of the 8" diameter stainless valve ports. The valves are configured such that in one position, air to be dried is passing through the tank. In the other position, hot air is passing through the tank to dry or regenerate the dessicant.
The side hatch is about 32 inch exterior diameter.
The tank is about 6 feet across by 68 inches tall which gives it a volume of roughly 147 cubic feet or about 1100 gallons.
