Gas maestro gss-2002 carbon monoxide detector
The GSS-2002 Carbon Monoxide detector is a highly sophisticated microcomputer based device designed to detect carbon monoxide build-up at an early stage and to then warn you. This will enable you to take action, preventing poisoning and other severe consequences.
The GSS-2002 detector monitors air for the presence of carbon monoxide 24 hours a day. When Carbon Monoxide (CO) is detected in concentrations higher than 20 PPM the actual concentration will be displayed on the digital readout. The display alternates between "CO" and a number that represents the concentration in PPM.
The detector will "remember" the last maximum Carbon Monoxide ( CO ) reading since last reset. To view this, keep the Test/Reset button pressed for 5 seconds. After 5 seconds, the temperature will be displayed with last maximum reading. If this button is kept pressed for an additional 5 seconds the last maximum reading is erased and reset to zero.
If Carbon Monoxide ( CO ) is present long enough, the detector will go into the alarm mode. It also will warn residents by audio and visual alarm in the case of a dangerous CO build-up.
It monitors its own operation as well, and will sound a warning signal in case of a malfunction.
