Supermill san rocco horizontal boring mill 55MM -2 1/8"
This is an Italian made machine. It has a 4MT in the spindle. It has power rapids. It has an outboard support, not shown, but included. Spindle motor is 5HP, presently on 220 3 phase power. Spindle speeds are 27.5 to 1650rpm. .0012 to .020 spindle feeds. Formerly imported by S & S Machinery in Brooklyn NY. I don't have any tooling with this machine. I did use it for one little job a year or two ago. Now it's for sale. I really liked its compact size. Not all shops can fit big horizontal boring mills inside, but many could take this one. I'd say it weighs about 8,000 lbs. Estimated travels: Longitudinal 48", Cross 48", Vertical 25" (I got these from the vernier scales on the machine. They may be a bit more than the machine would do, I don't know.) If your requirements are somewhere near these limits LET ME KNOW FIRST so I can go to the trouble of making very sure for you. The quill travels 9" with no pin collar, and with pin collar in it travels about 7 inches. 5/8" tee slots in table, and table is 24 x 36 inches. I can load the machine with 24 hours notice to get it through the door. Loading onto a flatbed truck is free. If any other type of truck is sent to pick up, rigging charges may apply.
