RS232 to 3~5.5V TTL Signal Converter Cable Kit
This RS232 Converter provides Rx/Tx pins and 2 control pins CTS/RTS handshake signals. It has a standard DB9 female RS232 connector and can be connected to a standard PC COM port. The micro controller board provides operating voltage (3 to 5.5 volts) to the adapter.
This module works with GPS unit, Microchip PICs, Basic Stamps, Atoms, and any other microchip and microcontroller and anywhere you need TTL to communicate via RS232.
It can be used as a bootloader interface, with a support of a bootloader chip then you can program the microcontroller in-circuit program, such as PIC using the C6, C7 hardware serial port.
Note: The pin 1(DCD), 4(DTR) and 6(DSR) of DB9 connector are handshake looped.
