This is our finest 1" Wood Turning Gouge produced in High Speed English Tool Steel. This 16.5" long Turning Gouge is based on the Marples (Sheffield England) model produced in the 1950's, right down to the 10" turned ash handle, 6.5" blade, and heavy brass furrel. The Gouge you will receive will be heavily laquer coated and ready for use. This tool is offered for sale individually for those wanting to add on to their collection, but is the same as the one included in our boxed set of eight.
