This scan is of the HP 3580A OEM Service and Operating Manual. From this disk, you can recreate the information in the original manual in printed form if you wish, using Acrobat (a distributable version is included). This manual includes operations and service information specific to the HP3580A. Also included are several Application Notes pertaining to spectrum analyzers in general.
This PDF is the exact same scan being distributed by our "competitors", which they describe as "a very high resolution" 300/600 dpi scan of the material, in which they claim pages with photos are done in 600 dpi grayscale in a 42 MB scan. That is an outright lie. The actual specifications of this scan (our distribution of it as well as theirs) are:
