Dynascan Vacuum Tube Voltmeter/B&K/Model 175/VTVM
This is a Dynascan Corporation VTVM Vacuum Tube Voltmeter. It is Model # 175 made by the B&K Division of Dynascan. I purchased the unit at an estate sale and have made what tests I could to insure that it is in working order. There are two tubes used in the power drive of the meter and I tested both of these on my tester, they are in good working condition and rate high on the test meter. I tested the AC reading by probing a power outlet, voltage read fine at 115 AC. I used a AAA battery to check the DC scale and it read accurate. The Ohm scale read infinity when I touched the probe and the ground. Beyond that I do not have the knowledge to check for more definitive measurements. The meter is 100% original and functions as I have explained so I have no doubt that it works fine. Look closely at the pictures and you will see the actual scale of measurements that can be preformed by this meter, if you know what it is and how to use it correctly I am positive it will be a good working unit for you.
