Southwestern Industries DPM SX3 3 axis bed/column type mill. 17x31x23.5vert travels, 5hp variable freq. head, new in 2006 Options-Advanced features (adv. pocket, copy, rotate, mirror, power tapping, etc.)Coolant pump/sw DXF Converter Chip trays/coolant shields Work lamp Power draw bar Electronic spindle (variable freq. drive) changes the spindle rpm tool to tool, also power tapping.Trak sensors (like the linear encoders for table position accuracy) All manuals and disks are included. 25 tool holders including 5 ER-40 collet holders and 1-1/2 sets of Kennametal er-40 inch collets (1 full set ~$600 plus extras on the common 1/4" 3/8", 1/2" etc.); ext/comp tap holder, keyless drill chuck, etc. etc. Also the custom fab'd catch pan extensions we had made. Machine + tooling is $42-43k easily new and it's not even 2 yrs old. Two Kurt D688 vises shown are included ($1000 in vises!) This is the current model machine with the Windows XP based SMX control, not the older versions. It's a great little machine, you can even bring in the part geometry on a dxf file and save a lot of time programming. (just point and click to select the features to mill or dril.) Factory service, firmware update, and testing was done 12/20/2007; reports are available - positioning x-y +/-.0002", etc. The machine is powered and available for inspection.
