Vision 1000-Pâ„¢ Process Monitoring Residual Gas Analyzer
The Vision 1000-P system is a new concept in RGA process monitoring - an advanced system requiring minimum operator interaction or RGA knowledge.
In PVD, contaminant gases are monitored down to ppb levels during the process phase. Residual gases can also be monitored at base pressures, which is particularly important after preventative maintenance. The Vision 1000-P provides a simple GO/NO-GO display. In addition, fault conditions or deviations from a "normal" event generate screen messages explaining the deviation and the likely cause/solution.
The Vision 1000-P consists of a compact "Smart Head" RGA, with a PVD ion source and close coupled inlet, and Process Eye Professional, a recipe driven, advanced software package. Process Eye Professional allows the process engineer to characterize known good "profiles" of baseline and process conditions, save the profiles and then display the data in a user-friendly format. Creating process recipes is made easy by the "Process Wizard" function, which sets customized warnings and alarm levels, triggered whenever the process exceeds pre-set standard deviation levels. The recipe is then handed over to production.
Decisions based on interpretation of RGA data are removed from the operator, since Vision 1000-P interprets data from the characterization database. Single push button operation starts the recipe.
