New pumping, pump out, liquid waste transfer station
The EPS-30 is ideal for use in situation where gravity drains are not practical. The collection and transfer of waste water from clean lines, sinks and production machines enters the reservoir and its level is sensed by a floating buoy. Once level reaches set level (approximately 9â€, the pump is activated and discharges the waste water through the discharge port. Once the liquid level drops to reset level (approximately 3â€), the pump is deactivated. The EPS-30 is designed for transferring clean water with mild detergents at a maximum temperature of 120 deg. F.
The EPS-30 is equipped with a submersible sump pump optimum for general purpose dewatering of water up to 120 deg. F. These pumps have an integral float switch to control pump operation. The pump motor is single phase 115 VAC, lubricated, and has thermal protection with a 3 pronged 10 ft. power cord. The pump is capable of pumping 10 gpm @ 20 ft of head. Wetted parts are Polypropylene, Nylon, Buna-n and Zinc. The pump and motor are UL listed and CSA certified.
A Polypropylene T-Strainer is provided at the entrance of the 30 gallon reservoir to collect any stray solids that may damage the pump. A clear bowl for the strainer is provided to view solids build-up. Simply unscrew the bowl and clean the strainer when solid build-up occurs. This strainer contains a durable 304 stainless steel 40 x 36 mesh screen.
30 gallon tough extra large tanks, 2" flange assures maximum strength. Compatible with many acids and chemicals, (not for fuels or oils) and able to withstand constant operating temp to 140°.F, intermittent service to 160° F. U.V. Stabilized. Translucent for liquid level viewing, ID dimensions are approximate 24†x 18†x 18†high. Not for fuels or oils. Covers are loose fitting. The tank is made of medium density polyethylene.
The tank adapter is made with PVC with Viton® gaskets (FDA approved). Max. Temp. PVC: 140°F.
Check Valve NSF listed. PVC - 140° F. Not spring loaded but the design insures free movement of the ball. Ball supported by a system of guide ribs to give full flow with minimum turbulence and chatter. The check valve has union connections for easy access to valve components. Requires only inches of head pressure to seal and open. The check valve also has plastic construction which eliminates corrosion. Viton® seals, O-rings and ball seats. Seating head 1 1/4 PVC; 4-5 psi;. 2 pound positive back pressure.
For installation the waste water drain from your equipment is connected to the EPS-30 1†Polypropylene T-Strainer inlet port. The pumping station outlet is on the discharge side of a 1 ¼†PVC check valve and is to be connected to the discharge plumbing. The pump simply needs to be plugged in to a standard 120 VAC receptacle (GFI recommended).
Note: Inlet and outlet plumbing to be connected to the EPS-30 pumping station is to be fixed to stationary objects so that damage to the EPS -30 plumbing fittings can be avoided.
